Timeless Design & Versatile Storage

  • Sidewalls: 7′ 10″ high.
  • Roof: Gambrel roof style with 25-year shingles (optional metal roof adds 5%).
  • Doors:
    • 8′ wide models include a single wooden door.
    • 10′, 12′, and 14′ wide models include double wooden doors.
  • Siding: 50-year Duratemp siding.
  • Floors: 3/4″ CDX plywood with joists spaced 16″ on-center.
  • Construction: 2×4 studs spaced 16″ on-center (16′ wide buildings use 2×6 studs).
  • Storage: Includes two lofts for additional storage.
  • Dimensions:
    • Buildings widths measured eave-to-eave.
    • Actual exterior floor widths: 10′ (9′ 8″), 12′ (11′ 2″), 14′ (13′ 2″), 16′ (15′ 2″).

The Northwood Buildings Lofted Barn combines the timeless charm of a traditional barn with modern functionality and durability. Designed for optimal storage and built to last, this lofted barn is perfect for keeping your belongings organized and secure.

Durable and Spacious Design
The barn features 7′ 10″ high sidewalls, offering ample vertical space, while the gambrel roof style adds both character and practicality, providing additional overhead storage capacity. Covered with 25-year shingles, the roof ensures long-lasting protection, with an optional metal roof upgrade available for extra durability and style.

Flexible Door Options
Depending on the width, the barn comes with thoughtfully designed door configurations:

8′ wide models include a single wooden door.
10′, 12′, and 14′ wide models feature double wooden doors for easier access to larger items.

Can also add 3′ walkdoors to a lofted barn.

Built Tough for Years to Come
50-year Duratemp siding ensures a low-maintenance exterior that resists the elements.
The 3/4″ CDX plywood flooring, supported by joists spaced 16 inches on-center, provides a solid, reliable base for heavy equipment and storage.
2×4 studs spaced 16 inches on-center create a sturdy frame, with 2×6 studs used for wider 16′ buildings for extra strength.

Maximum Storage Capacity
The lofted barn includes two lofts, adding significant storage space without taking up floor area, making it ideal for seasonal items, tools, or anything you want to keep off the ground.

Each barn is measured eave-to-eave, with actual exterior wall to wall widths of:

10′ wide models: 9′ 8″
12′ wide models: 11′ 2″
14′ wide models: 13′ 2″
16′ wide models: 15′ 2″
