What's the snowload on these?
VersaTube Building System structures are engineered and configured to meet local area ground snow and wind load requirements. Ground snow PSF (pounds per square foot) and wind velocity & exposure level (MPH @ B or C exposure) help determine the appropriate size and configuration of a VersaTube building package.
Our standard kits are rated for 80 psf ground snow load. We can custom design them for any snow laod you may need. Just let us know what you need.
Can you assemble these kits.
We do not assemble these. However, these are designed for a homeowner to assemble themselves, or you can hire one of many contractors/handymen to assemble it for you.
Do you have engineered drawings available?
The VersaTube framing system and structures are engineered and configured to address local area ground snow and wind load requirements. General engineering drawings and information are available from VersaTube for use with permitting when necessary.
If certified “wet” stamped engineering calculations and/or drawings are required by your municipality, please contact us to request your engineering package. The cost of a licensed engineer’s “wet” stamp varies depending on the structure specifics, complexity, and location.
Is there a warranty?
VersaTube Building Systems manufactures a premium product in America with 100% U.S. sourced steel. We provide superior corrosion protection by utilizing G-90 Galvanized Steel tubing with an additional triple layer clear coat finish.
This in-line process, referred to as ‘Flo-Coat’ finish, consists of 3 layers of clear-coat applied to the steel tubing after it’s been milled. Triple layer clear-coat provides twice the salt spray life and twice the rust protection versus standard galvanized tubing. We are proud to back each frame structure with a 20 year warranty.
Northwood Buildings has partnered with North Star Metals to provide painted steel roofing, siding and trim as part of these packages. North Star offers a limited 40 year warranty on their sheet metal. Any claims must be submitted directly to North Star Metals for consideration.
Where can I located assembly instructions
Most VersaTube structure kits will arrive securely packaged on a pallet or pallets. One of the items in the kit is a universal instruction manual.

Do you deliver
Our listed prices do not include delivery. Delivery can be arranged for an additional $500 fee. You do need to have a way to unload available on-site.
